How to enter the building:
ACE is at 2201 Washington Street, Suite 302 in Dudley Square, at the corner of Washington and Ruggles Streets. To get into our office, use the back entrance off of the Ruggles Street parking lot. (NOTE: Do not try to enter on the Washington Street side. You will not be able to access our office that way.)
In the entry way, dial 302 on the call box and we will buzz you in. If there are security guards in the lobby, tell them you are here with ACE. You do not need to sign in or go through any screening procedures. Take the elevator to the third floor. We're directly across the hall in Suite 302. (In a hurry? The elevator is slow, so you may also take the stairs to the top floor. The stairway entrance is on the right side of the lobby, on the opposite side of the room from the elevator.)
By public transportation from Downtown Crossing: Take the Silver Line bus (SL5) from Temple Street to the Melnea Cass stop. Continue walking (in the direction of the bus) along Washington Street for 2 blocks, crossing Williams Street. You'll pass Haley House Cafe on your right and the Hamill Gallery of African Art on your left. 2201 Washington Street is on your right, right after Payless Shoes. Use the back entrance off of the Ruggles Street parking lot and take the elevator to the third floor. We're directly across the hall in Suite 302.
The Silver Line bus (SL4) also picks up at South Station and follows the same route down Washington Street as above.
Other public transportation: Buses #1,#8, and #47 stop directly in front of the building on the Washington Street side. We are also accessible from the Dudley Square Bus Station. Walk 2 blocks north on Washington Street (towards Melnea Cass Boulevard) from the bus station. 2201 Washington will be on your left, right before Payless Shoes.
The closest subway stop is Ruggles Station on the Orange Line. Many buses from Ruggles will go to Dudley Square Bus Station (about a 5 minute ride, depending on traffic). If you prefer taking a 10 minute walk, exit Ruggles Station towards Tremont Street. Cross Tremont Street at the small crosswalk and walk up Ruggles Street for six blocks, passing a playing field on your right. Right before Ruggles Street ends at Washington Street, take a right into the public parking lot on Ruggles Street. Enter through the doors facing the parking lot and take the elevator to the third floor. We are directly across the hall in Suite 302.
For a return bus trip, all buses to Ruggles stop in Dudley Square Bus Station, around the corner from Dunkin Donuts (behind and to the left of the store).
By car from I-93, North or South of Boston: Take the Mass Ave. exit (exit 18). Continue straight on Melnea Cass Boulevard (cross Mass. Ave). Take a left on Washington Street and drive 2 blocks. You'll pass Haley House Cafe on your right and the Hamill Gallery of African Art on your left. 2201 Washington Street is on your right. Take a right on Ruggles Street and enter the parking lot on the left, in back of the building. Take the elevator to the third floor and we are directly across the hall in Suite 302.
